The Básicos

The beginner level of Spanish consists of 6 thematic courses of 12 classes each

These courses provide a strong foundation in grammar, reading, writing, comprehension and speaking

There is weekly homework, pop-quizzes, a final exam and an independent project based on the course theme

Small groups, each class is 90 minutes long, once a week

18 hours of learning

Students are expected to spend about 90 minutes per week on class assignments

Beginners

In Básico 3 we continue to expand our knowledge of verbs by learning the present progressive and the near future. Idioms, possessives and more vocabulary to gain more listening comprehension, reading and verbal fluency. In this course students will learn to order at a cafe, bar and at a restaurant by learning key vocabulary and creating their own restaurant script.
